Discover Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake plus Winery Tour
Prepare for an exhilarating full day of discovery which will include a unique experience of Niagara Falls , touring through the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake , and sampling organic / biodynamic wine at Southbrook Vineyards . You will be chartered by coach bus from the Marriott Hotel to Niagara Falls with a Niagara Parks Commission certified guide. Once at Niagara Falls, you will get to experience the thunderous falls close up. Pack some extra clothes because you are bound to get a little wet as you ride the Maid of the Mist to the base of the falls (includes a complimentary souvenir rain poncho). You will then enjoy a bountiful brunch at the Skylon Tower along with a ride up to the Observation Deck. A drive along the Niagara Parkway will take you to Niagara-on-the-Lake where you will have free time for shopping and sight-seeing. The day ends at Southbrook Vineyards, which includes a Southbrook Wine Sampler (a white, rosé, red and fruit wine) and a tour of the biodynamic vineyard and winery.
Itinerary:
- 7:00 am: departure from Toronto Marriott downtown Eaton Centre
- 8:30 am: arrival at Niagara Falls
- 8:30 am-9:15 am: free time for pictures, etc.
- 9:15 am-10:30 am: ride on Maid of the Mist
- 10:30 am-11:45 am: Sunday brunch at the Skylon Tower Summit Suites Buffet overlooking the Falls includes coffee or tea and gratuity, with trip to Observational level
- 11:45 am-12:30 pm: drive along the Niagara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake
- 12:30 pm-1:30 pm: free time exploring in historic district of Niagara-on-the-Lake
- 1:30 pm-1:45 pm: travel to Southbrook winery
- 1:45 pm-2:45 pm: winery tasting and tour
- 2:45 pm-4:15 pm: return to Toronto Marriott downtown Eaton Centre

Hike the Niagara Escarpment - a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve on Bruce Trail Day
The Bruce Trail spans the length of 800 km all the way from Niagara to Tobermory at Georgian Bay. The Bruce Trail follows the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, which has been designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. For this trip you will need to strap on your boots for a guided hike along the magnificent Bruce Trail in the Georgetown area – just a short bus ride from downtown Toronto. You will experience the diversity of ecosystems along a stretch of the oldest and longest footpath in Canada. Walk through the Speyside Nature Reserve and surrounding Niagara Escarpment land to explore a magnificent wetland, shaded woods and open meadows. Bring sturdy shoes, a water bottle and appropriate layers for rain or shine (you will be provided with a boxed lunch from Subway). What better way to celebrate Bruce Trail Day which happens to be celebrated on Sunday October 3.

- 8:30 am: depart from Marriott hotel
- 9:30 am: arrive at Speyside Nature Reserve
- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm: 3 km interpretive hike, this hike is a part of the “Biodiversity series” of hikes for Bruce Trail Day
- 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm: eat picnic lunch
- 1:30 pm: depart for Toronto
- 2:30 pm: arrive in Toronto
